I have spent the last couple weeks at the middle school with a band camp program working with clarinets and saxophones. We have gotten a head start and will be ready for when school starts! I have also begun the small group lessons where we will focus on learning All-State audition music.<br /><br />The weather has been extremely hot. It's funny, because people most people are concerned about athletes who practice outside in the middle of a heat wave... but musicians have it tough too! We use a lot of air when we play. With this hot weather, we have all been getting a little light-headed (and we're indoors!)
